The community education Programs at Mercy Medical Center includes free blood pressure screenings, $12 Cholesterol Screening, Fitness After Fifty Class, Boot Camp for New Dads, Advanced Medical Training for Babysitters, and Many Many more. You can also pick up a free catalog at City Hall.
WANTED
Mayer Linda Cox is looking for twelved people to serve on the Comprehensive Planning Committee. Strategic planning is a process by which a community envisions its future and identifies and develops the necessary actions and resources to achieve that future. The operations plan requires a time commitment of 12 to 18 months and a need for a diverse group of individuals to make up that committee. Weekdays, 9 p.m.
Fri. & Sat., 10 p.m.
Age 14 & 15:
Weekdays, 11 p.m.
Fri. & Sat., 12 midnight
Age 16 & 17:
12 midnight
Restrictions shall not apply to those minors accompanied by a guardian or parent, or those returning home from work, school or church functions.
Blood Drive
The Siouxland Community Blood Bank will be at the Salix Community Room on Thursday, July 8th from 3:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m.
Eligibility requirements:
- At least 17 years old (or 16 with a signed parent consent form)
- Weigh at least 110 pounds
- Be in good general health
- Your last donation should be on or before May 18th to donate
- Bring a list of medications
