Thank You Letter

Dear City of Salix

In a time of economic strains and busy schedules, I wanted to take a moment for a well deserved thank you to several individuals and organizations for working together on a project that epitomizes the words, "community" and "volunteerisim". St. Joseph Catholic Church deserves an immense "THANK YOU " for their latest donation; ag-lime from their old ball field which has been recycled and placed at the city parks. This donation comes on the heels of their previous donation of shelter areas for the park and ball field.

Without the individual who donate their time and equipment, these accomplishments could never have become a reality: Jason Burkhart, David Wagner, Bill Shreve, Derek Stanfield, Jeremy Hansen, Corey Hilts, Paul Wagner, and Superior Vault. Thanks also to Mayor Linda Cox, who is graciously voluntering her time to man the concession stand. The City of Salix, Salix Park Committee, Salix Fire & Rescue Department, Steinhoff Landscaping and the Salix Fireman's Auxiliary have also been instrumental in contributions and support. Thank you for giving my family a safe, fun ad beautiful facilty to enjoy!

Denise Burkhart
