KUDO'S to...

The St Joseph Catholic church for donating the ag-lime from their old ballfield field to the City's ballfield.

On a chilly Saturday a crew of workers moved the ag lime from one field to the other. Thanks to the St. Joseph Catholic church for the ag lime donation

Thanks to the City of Salix, Paul Wagner, and Superior Vault for their donation of equipment.

Thanks to the volunteer efforts of Jason Burkhart, Derek Stanfield, Jeremy Hansen, Bill Shreve, David Wagner, and Corey Hilts.

The recycled ag-lime was used to increase the infield, correct existing low spots both on the East field, and adding a new pitcher's mound to home plate on the West field. Because of their efforts, this year will be the first since many that Westwood Little League will host ball games on the Salix City ballfield.

Please come out and support your local Little League players to show your appreciation for the community efforts in this project.
